Bring Your
Roses To Her Now
I Wish I Had A Girl Like You, Mother |
1950 |
In the listing above
there are three numbers. The number starting with "WP" is the number
for the box set the 45 was part of, we have listed the ones we know but
obviously are missing some. The second number is the 48
series number. The third number is the 78 equivalent. Because many of
the first 45s were reissues of 78s there is no connection between the
45's number and the 78's number. These have been color coded red. RCA
skipped 48-0225-48-0299 so the 48 series numbers would correspond with
their equivalent 78s in the 21 "Bluebird" series and these have been
colored
yellow.
We have listed all the 78s in the 21 series we know of but it is likely
that every 48 series 45 after 0300 had an equivalent in the 21
"Bluebird" series of 78s. Originally the 48 series were issued on green
vinyl as
RCA tried color coding 45s by type of music.
